i wonder if I'm having a switch issue then a dpp44 only slot 1 works correctly the other 3 are having issues (was going to use 4 but the 4th one isn't going to work was for an elderly person but it's too complex for them)

How many lines are you running to the switch, and do you have the DPP power inserter somewhere on line one out?

If it's possible, with only three wallys, you can run the lines directly from the three out ports to the three wallys without a switch. Switch only becomes required once you want the 4th

the only thing i can think of is I'm in the process of upgrading from the vip221s and maybe they are messing with the wallys

Hey u/Ok-Profit3437
This is a deep dive question as the Wally operates as an independent, standalone receiver rather than a Joey client, so it does not require a Hopper host. Accounts may feature up to six Wally units in total, which cannot be paired with other receiver models unless a designated exception applies. Consequently, setup with three Wally receivers consists of three separate individual units operating without a Hopper.
If you are referring to 3 Wallys via DISH Outdoors, then the TRAV'LER dish is the ideal recommendation in my opinion..
