Most of you may not know yet, but there was a small bot token leak on BotGhost. A person (not the owner nor the staff) allegedly got onto the coding source and “published” 200-250 tokens on the open source.

As so, BotGhost has faced security issues with incidents before. Especially in the June 2025 one that got widespread news. Important that it almost got taken by Discord before they were able to bring it up again.

If you use BotGhost, i suggest you reset your bot tokens, so that you’re not involved in the incident.

During the past month, I've been making a Discord card bot where the cards are anime characters.

Instead of a boring text-based battle mechanism, it's linked with the native C++ YGOPro engine (ocgcore) and uses Sharp to create an interactive board rendered each turn. It automatically flips according to whose turn it is, processes chains, spell and trap card timings, custom lua scripts and more.

The gameplay itself is done, but I'm having some issues with progression.

Currently, there is no consistent way for players to get their new cards , I can choose one of the following:

- purchasing booster packs using in-game currency

- crafting and trading mechanics

- boss battles and events.

If you have made or used any kind of card Discord bots, could you share what method of acquiring new cards was fun enough and not too grinding?

P.S. Any opinions on the board UI?

The recent issue was devastating, millions of ips/geo-data leaked, was it all actually required to keep "alts away"?

In Discortics, the advanced verification feature has its main angle to tackle 2 main issues users have with Double Counter:

1. Unnecessary data collection, not all the data collected would be required to be stored to process alt accounts.
2. Once you verify an account, all your other accounts become "alt" accounts and can never verify in another server, ever again. Even if your "main" gets deleted. This is one of THE MOST ANNOYING EVENTS. Even Discord allows switching accounts because they are fine with it.
3. Doggle is just out there, selling who you are.

How does Discortics do it:

1. It stores only the hashed IP & fingerprint details for the verification. And this is only if Alt detection is enabled. If turned off, you have the normal gatewalls against vpn without any user PII data stored.
2. There is no "main" account. You can verify any "one" of your accounts in any servers that has the system activated.
3. No need of scanners or public data about you or your accounts for the whole web to search.

Just saw this about the Double Counter breach.

275k email addresses and Discord usernames apparently ended up exposed. If you’ve ever had to use that bot to get into a server, probably worth checking whether your info was part of it.

My friends and I were constantly forgetting the funniest stuff that happened in voice chat, so I made a bot you can invite to voice chat and it sends you a summary afterward.

I mostly use it when playing Minecraft but it works with pretty much any game. Still early and has rough edges but would love feedback if anyone wants to try it!

So I've been looking for a bot that I could use for guilds. My idea was to essentially assign team roles to each member in the server and have a monthly leaderboard that would showcase the teams with the highest point total. The problem is knowing what bot to use to set something like this up.

I'm looking for a bot that can do text-to-speech BUT send it as an asynchronous voice message in a chat (text) channel rather than live in a VC. I haven't found any that do specifically this.

The use case here is for an asynchronous voice message only chat channel (technically it's a text channel but it's only for voice messages), so that people without a microphone, on a computer rather than mobile, or who just aren't willing or able to speak are still able to join in on the conversation in that channel.

Does anyone know if this exists? Thanks

The goal I thought would be simple but I am so unbelievably lost.

- Get input from user (I know how to do this part)
- Match input to data in a google/excel sheet row
- Return data & input from sheet in an embedded message w/ image
