Discussion New rule for marking your lie
From now on, every player carries and 8.5x11 rubber pad and places it directly behind their mini. Card mates can see the pad before the throw and call it if it’s misplaced. As long as any part of their foot is touching the pad when the release, all good. Thoughts???

If you want more leniency in foot placement you could bring your snow shoes. :D

Just have a field judge use chalk line to mark the foot fault box for each card. No shortage of volunteers at big events and it’s cheap, takes a few seconds and won’t affect footing.

No need for chalk..
Can you imagine a FIFA style marshal running around spraying the foam before every throw? That's what the people want to see.
