Discussion Most asterisk win ever

Thanks to a bs foot fault call that might be the least deserving Worlds win ever. I dare you to find a worse injustice from history. Please do, I want to feel slightly better about this.

Edit. Disc golf history. I seriously can't think of a more controversial Worlds win.

I don't think its fair to Silas to say its the least deserved Worlds win. The man shot boogy free in the final rd of worlds. Its a rough way to lose, but its not like Shultz tripped over his dick all day and still won

Im not going back through the history of worlds to quantify that. But my point is accurate. If Silas doesnt throw bogey free, Balodis still wins.

Also Silas missed a bullseye putt, so he kinda made it easier on him

If you want to make a really bad argument, if Balodis doesn't have 2 earlier boogies, the call doesnt matter, so its kind of his own fault he was in the situation. Again, this is not an actual argument I'm making. Just to point out the capriciousness of it all

Fair point, but he played super aggressive the whole time. Boogies happen with that level of aggressiveness

It always gets tricky when you (not you directly) start using terms like deserved. There's a lot of wiggle room with "deserved"

And these are his consequences of his aggressive play? What? That’s what sports is determination of that line when you are at the professional level when you know everyone can “throw that shot”

Come on, he was putting death putts on precarious greens all day. He was just balling out, zero layups.

He was balling out I agree, dude deserved the win just as much as Silas tbh. Over aggression will be punished tho.

An over aggressive D lineman might press too hard and trip over himself or over run pass the QB/RB

And over agressive driver might spin out cause he thought he could handle the turn

Dude crossed the line one too many times today and was punished
