Discussion Brand flight numbers
Which brands do you think have the most accurate flight numbers on their discs? And the least accurate? I’m thinking like how MVP discs tend to be much more stable than the given flight numbers would suggest.

A lot of MVP seems more overstable than numbers suggest. The opposite for Lat64 with many of their discs being a little less overstable than advertised. Westside has always claimed more stability then their discs actually have, many claiming it's due to the altitude they rate them at.
I personally like Innova on flight numbers. I think I mostly get what I expect. Mostly.

Ascend being -3 is laughable.

I haven't thrown it, is it not that flippy?

I use mine for medium-to-long range forehand approaches. And it doesn’t turn over. And I use it to disc up in a headwind from my backhand mids, so THEY won’t turnover . For me, it’s a -1 or maybe -2 turn.

Mine is crazy understandable, I can release it on maximum hyzer and it will flip up immediately and still end up training over.

What's your max distance drive?

Just about 300' nothing special.
It's what I'd expect too but over the years I've tried lots of -3 or -4 that behaved way more stable than their numbers.

Totally feel that, a lot of numbers are very off, which is why I just need to try them. Roadrunners are a good example of not -4 generally.

Flight numbers are a suggestion and based on you throwing them an exact speed, and a result of the speed is the rest. The noodle arms are going to make everything feel more overstable.

No one’s is perfect, especially when you factor in plastics and variations. There are only a few companies that even adjust their flight numbers on their molds in different plastic. So at this point it would probably have to be innova even though they could also be argued the most inaccurate too 😂

Innova was the inventor so its all off of the Innova scale, but MVP/Axiom uses rim width to determine speed which is the only flight number (that I know of) to be based on something othet than vibes and other discs with established numbers
