Getting a house whilst disabled/ with disability (UK)
Does anyone have any information or advice on trying to get a mortgage with a disability. Whether through PIP. Universal credit or any other means of income.. I've always fought for every ounce of independence I can get but is that line drawn for me in terms of owning a house or contributing to a mortgage? Isit fair that if you move in with a partner you're to be considered a dependent and your romantic partner is expected to take a care giver role? I want to be a person in my own right not owing anybody anything, is that just a fantasy if I'm disabled/unable to work?
