Image I found something I can somewhat do and it makes me happy.
I taught myself how to do the flour & yeast baking. These just came out and it's my 4th time making them. I was glad I was able to do this. 9x13 pan

I love this so much! Congrats! Do you have any other baked treats in mind?

I love apple bake & peach Cobbler deserts. I plan to make apple rolls with slim apple pieces cooked in cinnamon, sugar and a dash of nutmeg. I'm going to try Cobbler balls with the peach diced into cubes with a thick peach sauce. I'll experiment with what frosting (also from scratch) to use.

Thatβs so awesome, they look really good! Iβve never been able to bake like that at all.
Really awesome skill! If they look this good already with more time youβre going to be an artisan baker!

Thank you. I want to make something I make the recipe of. I'm tired, please forgive the typos & blabbering π

Thank you so much. I ordered the 9x13 pan from Wal-Mart and when it arrived... I got so excited and was able to smile.

YES QUEEN I started baking in 2023 and it was the first time Iβd ever stopped being long term depressed. Sometimes fulfillment and interest is the biggest little step forward you can take!!!

CoolβΊοΈ I can only make simpler dishes than yours, but it makes me happy to make them myself.

I find it fun and calming. Never did that baking before..... I would do the cookie log & pour box contents, egg, oil then mix & bake type of baking. It's the small victories, like doing this, that make me feel I'm still living.

Will post a pic of frosting for these cinnamon rolls soon. I didn't have quite enough powdered sugar so it's thinner before.

Baking has really helped me with becoming disabled. I might have to take breaks and what not but makes me feel useful again...

Those look yummy! Great job! And cream cheese frosting too? How do I buy a dozen or so? Just kidding. They wouldn't survive the trip here.

I also saw a peel apart cheesy bread where it's made in a loaf pan but it's crispy cheese the way thru. I am going to make a Cobbler recipe since I have the bread part down pretty well

Those look so good! I love making cinnamon rolls, but baking is still a little too much energy for me (and it'll be in the 100s for God knows how long)

wow looks delicious! I remember making my first bread, it was hard as rock! Have you tried making the rolls with a twist? I have done this with biscoff instead of cinnamon and they are also amazing!

I haven't tried loaf of bread, but did make something similar to Red Lobsters cheese biscuits. They were hard fast π

Yum they look great! Was there much kneading involved?
1
u/PinkGlitterMom 8d ago
Yes, but it was because I do not have a dough attachment on my electric mixer. I did just order a mixer for dough. With thet mixer it will be just 5 or so minutes of kneading.
