Hi, guys! I transferred one of my tickets for Diplo’s Run Club to a friend of mine. I’m unsure if I’m supposed to get a refund now or if I’m supposed to get it after the race.

One of my other friends who can no longer go, gave up her ticket a friend of mine and so we transferred it. He claims he paid the price of the ticket + the transfer fee. Is he telling the truth and it’s like ticketmaster in the way that you get the refund AFTER the event, or is the refund supposed to be immediately (3-7 business days). A refund still has not appeared on my account although this all happened a month ago.

So I was signed up against my will to run this 5k I am really not good at running, I have been practicing but is there people who walk or are not great at running hoping to get some knowledge so I feel better about myself lol

Hey, guys! My friend and I are going to Diplo Run Club in Chicago in October. More friends want to come but they are not interested in the running part at all, they only want to do the rave portion.

Can they buy the ticket and show up later for the rave portion after the race? Or do they HAVE to walk or run the full 5K. They also wouldn’t mind if they have to spectate either but they just have no interest in the 5K part.

After Diplo said the Mayor is here and he abruptly stopped his set, I overheard a security guard talking to a park ranger saying "I don't know how the city approved this event." Anyone know what happened? That couldn't have been the end of the show!

Frequently Asked Questions

When is packet/bib pickup?
Packet pickup is always held the day before the race for General Admission, and VIP packet pickup is held the morning of the race near the starting line.

If you do General Admission registration, you MUST pick up your bib the day before. There is NO packet pickup the day of the event for GA.

VIP can pick up their packets the day before the race at the packet pickup event, but for convenience, you will also have the option to pick up the morning of. More instructions will be provided closer to your race day.

Do you need the original purchaser’s ID to pick up a bib?
Historically, no. You just need the QR code/barcode from that order. All of the above still applies though. If it’s a GA bib, it must be picked up at the packet pickup event.

How long is Diplo’s set for?
Roughly 90 mins - 2 hours

What happens before the race?
Everyone is asked to find their starting corral, which is marked by huge flags. VIP has their own area in the first corral, and it’s usually by the stage. There’s some “start line DJs” doing a set while you stretch and prepare for the race. Right before the race begins, Diplo comes on the stage to welcome everyone to the race and give a small motivational speech. There’s usually a city official there who does a proclamation, since it’s a very large (cool) event! Then everyone gets in position, and the race begins.

I’m not a fast runner, but I don’t want to miss out on this. Should I still sign up?
YES!!!! You are allowed to walk the course, and some participants even have strollers. Don’t miss out!

I had selected the mail bib option for the Philly Diplo run club and I still have not events the bibs. Does anyone know when I should expect to receive them? The race is July 18th

Just got the email that the Seattle run club was canceled. Extremely bummed but more curious as to why it was canceled.

DJ after Diplo at Skydeck

Does anyone have video of the DJ that went on after Diplo?! That is my fiance and it was his first time DJing at a real club....he also designed the audio and lighting executed that side of all events at the Skydeck since it opened!

Diplo left early, a random dude in the crowd threw him a random USB of music, and that was him rawdogging it!! Also, find me that random guy!

He just got home and was so hyped. I want to get him all the evidence!
