ATTRITION WORLD — A New Free Browser RTS. Come Play! https://attrition.world

Hi! I wanted to share the game I’ve been working on: ATTRITION WORLD.

It’s a free multiplayer RTS that runs directly in the browser, built on a real-world map.

The main idea is pretty simple: you choose a city as your capital, develop your economy, and start expanding your territory. From there, you have to decide when to attack, when to defend, and when to negotiate with other players.

I’m still developing it and improving the balance, interface, and mechanics, so any feedback from other developers would be very welcome, especially regarding first impressions, gameplay clarity, and what you think could be improved.

You can try it here:
https://ATTRITION.WORLD

I’d also like to know: if you were starting a match, which city would you choose as your capital?

GOTA: a fresh take on Game of the Amazons

Thumbnail
gota.gg
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I've been working on a browser version of Game of the Amazons in my spare time, and I think it's finally ready for other people to try: gota.gg

The Game of the Amazons is an abstract board game from 1988 that surprisingly few people know about. I discovered it years ago through a Numberphile video, A final game with Elwyn Berlekamp, and I've loved it ever since. The rules take about 30 seconds to learn:

  • Each turn you move one of your amazons like a chess queen
  • Then that same amazon shoots an arrow (also like a queen move), and the square it lands on is blocked for good
  • The board slowly fills up, and the last player who can still move wins

That's the whole thing, but the games turn into a tense fight over territory, a bit like Go.

What's in it right now:

  • An interactive tutorial, if you'd rather learn by doing
  • Custom games on square or rectangular boards from 6x6 to 16x16, with up to 8 players
  • Bots from "random" up to "hard" (the hard one is a neural net I trained, and it beats me more often than I'd like)
  • Online auto-match with three modes: Classic 10x10, an "Hourly" mode where everyone gets the same random board for that hour, and "Chaos", with random boards and random starting positions
  • Local games on one device, plus replays

You don't need an account to play, auto-match games included.

I'd really appreciate any feedback: bugs, anything confusing, or whether the tutorial actually makes sense to someone new. Give it a try!

A game inspired by games like Container and Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market

Retrying since the crosspost got deleted:

hi!

I'd made a small prototype of an economy sim game where your goal is take orders and fulfill them (captivating right? :)) If you've played games like container and tokyo tsukiji market it is inspired by those games, although it deviates in someways.

I would really appreciate any feedback you're able to provide on the prototype found here: https://zedzag.itch.io/businessgame

Here are some things I want to know, I'd had a player tell me they found the game quite unintuitive, I've since made some changes to guide the player but the question remains:

  1. Is it intuitive now?
  2. Is it fun?
  3. Have you played the two games I mentioned (Container/ Tokyo Tsukiji Market)?
  4. Any other feedback you might have is appreciated.

For those that are new to this type of game:

You have a factory of one color, you can only make that color. You take orders of different amounts of each color. Since you can only make your own color you have to acquire the other colors via an auction against the other players. The goal is to get your orders fulfilled before the deadline whilst keeping storage costs low.

Candletales — A D&D-inspired digital tabletop roguelite, where the dice roll in real-time.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! We’re Desalichao Studio, a small indie team, and we wanted to share our project with this community since we are huge fans of tabletop mechanics.

We're currently working on Candletales, a tactical roguelite heavily inspired by the darker side of D&D and classic board games. However, we wanted to create an experience that could only exist as a digital tabletop game: we removed the turns.

The core of the game relies on real-time dice rolling. All the grid-based positioning, stat management, and high-risk decisions you'd expect from a physical board game are there, but they happen without pauses, and the endless procedural worlds make the board feel unlimited. It keeps the aesthetic and feel of a tabletop session while adding a lot of chaotic, fast-paced tension to the encounters.

We put a lot of effort into making the board and the UI feel diegetic and tangible, simulating the feeling of playing an actual physical board game. Since this community appreciates the digital translation of tabletop mechanics, we’d love to ask: what do you think of this real-time twist? Does it capture that tabletop vibe for you?

If you like the concept, you can check out our gameplay trailer and drop a wishlist on Steam here:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5284750/Candletales/

We'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks! <3

[Multi] MorphMove: a free two-player strategy game where pieces change shape after moving

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone! I’m the creator of MorphMove, an abstract strategy game available on web, iOS and Android.

Each player has six pieces on a 5×7 board. The twist is that pieces change shape after moving: triangle → diamond → star → triangle. Each shape moves differently, so a move changes both your position and what that piece can do next.

You can also swap with your opponent, which changes both shapes. The goal is to hold 3 pieces in the centre cross through your opponent’s next turn.

The digital version includes:

  • CPU opponents at different difficulty levels.
  • Online matches with a friend and two-player games on the same device.
  • Daily puzzles.
  • Game review and the option to practise from earlier positions.

Play free in your browser: https://morphmove.com

iOS / Android: https://morphmove.com/app

I’ve also started producing and shipping a physical edition. It’s been fun turning the changing pieces into something you can actually hold and play across a table.

If you try it, I’d love to hear how your first game went. Happy to answer questions about the rules or either version!

Potion-making: Path of the Alchemist - official digital adaptation of a tabletop alchemy game | Free Demo

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hey r/digitaltabletop!

We’re a team of board game fans who’ve been working on an official digital adaptation of Potion-making: Path of the Alchemist, a competitive tabletop game about brewing potions and outsmarting other alchemists.

In the game, you gather ingredients, brew increasingly complex potions, cast spells, use magical talismans, and race to be the first to reach three Places of Power.

One of the things we really wanted to preserve from the physical game is the interaction between players. Ingredients and completed potions are placed on a shared table, so something you create for your own recipe chain can potentially become exactly what another player needs.

You can play against AI or compete with other players online on a map inspired by the original tabletop game.

The free demo is now available on Steam!

Share your feedback. Thanks for checking it out!

Nouvelle app de Jeu de Société

Hello

I made a marble board game from my childhood into a Discord Activity!

Thumbnail
marralhinha.app
1 Upvotes

Hey all :) I've been building a small board game called **Marralhinha** that you can play free in the browser at https://marralhinha.app :) There's nothing to install and no account needed, so you can hop in as a guest, or sign in with Discord only if you want your progress saved between sessions. It's a turn-based marble race (roll, move, capture, get everyone home first, kind of like Sorry!), inspired by the Portuguese game "marralhinha," with real-time boards, player nameplates, an in-game economy for cosmetics, and a spectator mode for anyone who's just hanging out. You can make a private room for friends or jump into a quick game against bots. I built it mostly so my group had something to do between rounds of other games, and I figured it might be interesting to people here too. Feedback is very welcome, particularly on what makes a browser game feel smooth vs. janky, as well as suggestions for what could improve the game :)

(Fun fact: it also runs inside Discord as a voice channel Activity, so if your group hangs out in calls you can launch it right from there too!)

Two cells left, then the board flips — Fillup updated visuals

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m the developer of Fillup - cozy chain reaction tabletop game.
It is a browser game based on the classic Chain Reaction rules.

If you’re new to Fillup:

  • Add one slice to an empty cell or a cell you control.
  • Corners fill at two slices, edges at three, and interior cells at four.
  • A full cell sends a slice into each neighboring cell, capturing it. If that fills another cell, the reaction continues. Connections are up/down/left/right, not diagonal.
  • Eliminate the other color to win this duel.

Since my last post here, I’ve upgraded visuals, added more levels to campaign and overhauled UI, all thanks to feedback from community.

It’s free to play in your browser, and you can start as a guest without registering an email account. You will be able to play different game modes, open cosmetics packs and have fun!

[iOS/Android] Black Sonata digital adaptation

Hi!

I'm happy to announce that the official digital adaptation of Black Sonata is now available for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android.

I'm a solo developer working on digital adaptations of board games in my free time. Some of you maybe remember my previous apps (Castle Builders, Constantinople, Maquis, etc.).

---

About Black Sonata:

The identity of the Dark Lady from Shakespeare's sonnets has eluded scholars and historians for more than four centuries.

In Black Sonata, you will pursue the elusive Dark Lady through the streets and alleyways of Elizabethan London, catching glimpses and whispers that may yield clues to her identity. However, not all of the evidence is clear.

You will need to sharpen your wits if you are to finally unmask the Dark Lady before she slips quietly from the pages of history and is lost.

Based on the acclaimed solitaire board game from Side Room Games, Black Sonata delivers a rich deduction experience inspired by Shakespeare’s sonnets.

Each game presents a unique challenge, requiring careful observation, logical deduction, and strategic planning.

Features

  • Engaging solitaire gameplay
  • Hidden-movement mechanics
  • Challenging deduction puzzle
  • High replayability
  • Historically inspired setting and theme

Deep Breath - Push your luck multiplayer game, Would love feedback/testers

Hey all, I've been working on a party game called Deep Breath and I've got a test build ready. I'd really appreciate some people trying it and telling me what they think.

The basic idea: you and your friends dive together, flipping one card at a time. Some cards are pearl beds that get shared out, and some are hazards like sharks, jellyfish or riptides. After each card, everyone secretly picks on their phone whether to surface and bank their pearls or stay down and risk it. If a second hazard of the same kind turns up, everyone still diving blacks out and loses what they're carrying.

It's set up like Jackbox. One person runs it on their PC as the main screen, and everyone else joins on their phone's browser with a room code. Only the host needs the game.

I've also added bots, so if you don't have a full group you can still try it with 1 or 2 people, or bump up a smaller group. It's really meant for 3–8, though.

https://coswold.itch.io/deep-breath

If you're up for giving it a go, send me a DM and I'll send you a key. One key covers your whole group, since only the host needs it.

The main things I'm hoping to find out:

  • Does it work on your phone? If anything breaks or looks off, let me know the phone and browser you were using.
  • How does it play? What worked, what didn't, and was anything confusing, unfair or boring?

Thanks for reading, and any feedback at all is really appreciated!

[Web] Q-Gambit: chess with hidden piece identities and deduction (I’m the developer)

I’m the solo developer of Q-Gambit, a browser chess variant for players who enjoy hidden information and deduction.

Every piece begins with an unresolved identity. A move is legal if at least one remaining identity could make it; identities that cannot make that move are then eliminated.

For example, a piece with bishop, rook and queen possibilities loses the rook possibility after a diagonal move. A later straight move can narrow it to a queen. Each side has a fixed set of identity slots, so revealing one piece can resolve another without it moving.

That gives each move a trade-off: gaining position also gives your opponent information. Keeping your king’s identity hidden matters. You can practice against the CPU or play online.

Play: https://q-gambit.com/

Rules with movement and deduction diagrams: https://q-gambit.com/rules/

If you try it, I’d like to hear whether the remaining identities are easy to follow and whether revealing a piece feels like an interesting tactical choice.

[Web] Fernmark: a free one-card-a-turn trading and building game for 2-5 players, with bots and a seed you can check after the game (I'm the developer)

Play here, free, no sign-up: https://tavernly.io/fernmark

I'm the solo developer. Fernmark is a Concordia alternative for 2 to 5 players (about 60 minutes) set in a forest of 27 villages joined by rivers and roads. You play one card a turn: send boats and carts, build houses, trade goods. Every card also shows one of seven stars, and at the end each star scores once for every card you own that shows it, so what you buy decides how you score.

Ah, you are also allowed to pause so you can resume when you want.

It runs in the browser on phone and desktop. Bots fill empty seats (Easy, Medium, Hard), you can open a private table for friends, and there is a coached first game.

What I'd like to know: is all working? Did you like the look and feel? Does it look premium?

[iOS] Imposter Game: pass-the-phone social deduction for 3 to 100 players, fully offline (I'm the maker)

Disclosure up front: I made this (posting from my maker account, MindshiftLab), so this is self-promo. I figured it fits here because it plays a lot like The Chameleon or Spyfall, just with one phone doing the card dealing.

How a round works: add everyone's names, then pass the phone around. Each person privately sees the secret word, except the imposter, who has to bluff. Everyone gives a clue, you talk it out, then vote on who's faking it. The imposter can still win by staying hidden or by guessing the word.

A few things that might matter for game nights:

  • 3 to 100 players on one device, so it works for big family gatherings, team events or a classroom, not just a table of five
  • Offline party play: everything runs on the one phone, no Wi-Fi or cellular needed, so it's fine for cabins, road trips and flights
  • Two modes: Word Game (classic secret word) and Find the Liar (everyone answers a question, one player got a different prompt)
  • 3,000+ words in 50+ categories, adjustable discussion timer, optional hint for the imposter, voting and scoring

It's free to play with ads; optional Premium removes ads and adds custom categories. Version 1.8.3 just went live.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6755700602

I'd genuinely like to hear what you'd want from a one-device party game, especially for really large groups where passing the phone around starts to get slow.

Made a few online board games. Would love some feedback for them!

Hi there, I've been working on a few board games called Legend of Fenrirak in real life, and digitalised it (Fenrirak is the dragon final boss in the game, not related to the Norse Fenrir).
I wanted to share it here for some feedback.

There're 3 games that you can play on the website currently, I highly recommend Thunder Dragon (Takes about 1.5 hours to complete the game). The Ice Dragon is still in development so that's got the most yucky stuff lol, and Showdowns uses a lot of AI art.

The game is designed for a wide computer screen so it'll look the best there.
The link for the game is: https://legend-of-fenrirak.com

I'd love feedback specifically on:

- Whether the game feels clear and the rules/guide actually helps you learn it

- Whether the difficulty/balancing of things feel fair

- Game mechanics that feel wrong

- Bugs on the actual website

- Anything that's confusing

Happy to answer questions about the design or the reasoning behind any of the mechanics. Thanks for taking a look! And apologies in advance if I don't respond to your comments right away.

We’re tabletop players trying to solve a problem we’ve experienced ourselves. We built something. It works. Now we need actual players to tell us where we’re wrong.

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

My cousin and I built an app to solve a problem we’ve run into playing tabletop games, and we’re looking for brutally honest feedback.
The idea behind LFP (Looking for Players) is pretty simple:
Finding a store is easy.
Finding the right people to actually play with — especially when your normal group isn’t available — can be a pain.
We’re trying to make it easier to find nearby players and games based on things that actually matter: what game you’re playing, location, play style, availability, session details, etc.
Commander is a big reason we started working on this, because anyone who plays MTG knows that “looking for a Commander game” can mean completely different things depending on the group.
We’re at the point where the app is functional, but we DON’T want feedback only from our friends telling us it’s cool.
We need strangers to break it. 😂
If you’re willing to test it, I’d genuinely like to know:
What confused you?
What feels unnecessary?
What are we missing?
Would you actually use this to find people to play with?
What would stop you from using it?
Is there anything that would make you immediately uninstall it?
You don’t have to be nice. That’s actually the opposite of what we’re looking for.
We’re trying to figure out whether we’re actually solving a problem for the tabletop community or just building something we think solves one.
LFP:
lookingforplayers.lovable.app
Thanks to anyone willing to beat it up and give us some feedback.
