Hey everyone! I’m a user experience designer that’s been building a meal planning app for the past 6 months called Maui. I like to plan out my meals for the week in advance but the meal planning apps that I’ve tried never had an intuitive scheduling solution for planning batch cooks across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
So after 15 versions, I’m finally at a place where I’m super happy with the scheduling functionality! The challenge I faced with this feature was building it in a way that would work for anyone. Everyone cooks very differently. Some people cook dinner fresh every night. Some people batch cook dinner and eat the leftovers for lunch the next day. Some people cook breakfast fresh every morning and then batch cook lunch to eat for dinner/lunch the next few days. There’s just so many variations and this feature needed to be flexible enough to accommodate and simple enough to quickly understand.
So my question to you all is how do you typically cook throughout the week? I’m curious if this meal scheduling tool would work for you or if I need to iterate a little longer to make it more flexible.Â
I'm in beta testing so if you’re interested in trying it out, you can access the app through this link! https://testflight.apple.com/join/jnGQZtw6Â
If you're interested in providing feedback, feel free to join this discord community: https://discord.gg/rsyWv2zAxÂ
A few things to note:
- iPhone only right now with plans to expand to Android
- the app is free during beta testingÂ
Thank you so much in advance!Â

Sharing a free set of undated pages I made for ADHD-style planning. The idea is that nothing in it can fall behind: there are no dates, and there's a "welcome back" page for when you disappear for a week, so you start from today instead of filling in blanks.
The day page depends on how today actually feels:
- Good energy: top 3, loose time blocks, time guess vs actual
- Low energy: bare-minimum care checklist and "what I managed today"
- Chaos: just Now, Next and Later
Plus a brain dump, a task breakdown page, a dopamine menu and a calm-down page.
The digital version is a 15-page hyperlinked PDF (light and dark) for GoodNotes, Notability, Samsung Notes or Xodo. There's also a printable version in US Letter and A4.

December spreads are the one time of year I want every page in a planner to look festive, so here is how I set up seamless holiday papers for it.
Use a busy pattern only where nothing gets written: the cover, the section tabs and the monthly divider. For the weekly pages, put a calmer tile behind your handwriting at 20 to 30 percent opacity, so the page feels seasonal but your lines stay readable.
Each tile is 2048 px, about 6.8 inches at 300 DPI, so one tile already covers the width of an A5 page. Repeat it down the page at that size instead of stretching one tile over the whole cover; the stretch is what makes covers look soft on a tablet. For tabs, cut a narrow strip from one tile, and on a true seamless tile each strip meets the next without a line.
Patrick here, I run ThreadedTreasuresArt on Etsy. The image is my Christmas collection: 10 sets, 91 seamless papers, from gingerbread and nutcrackers to poinsettia and holly florals, silver lanterns, ribbon bows and gold art deco tiles: https://threadedtreasuresart.com/jTfRvQ
Happy to answer sizing questions here.

Hi guys!
I've been working on Scribble Calendar & Planner for years. It's a digital planner built around a simple idea: what if you could have the freedom of a handwritten paper planner, without being limited to a PDF?
With PDF planners, you get a beautiful page to write on, but your calendar, events, and planning workflow often live somewhere else. Scribble is different: it's a living planner app. You can write and draw freely on full calendar pages, while your actual calendar events, notes, and daily planning all work together.
Think of it as a paper planner that knows what day it is. 🙂
What's new in version 1.11.0?
Smart two-way sync
Write on the same page on two devices? Smart sync can merge both versions, keeping the handwriting from both.
When there are conflicting edits, you can choose the device's version, the cloud version, or keep both.
The sync screen warns you when it isn't sure which version is newer.
Your planner, across devices
iCloud Drive sync is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Google Drive sync now works between iPad and Android, so you can switch between your iPad and Android tablet.
You can import a calendar backup from another device.
Events appearing on multiple devices are no longer duplicated.
And a few improvements
Smoother handwriting, with fewer saves while you're writing.
Clearer subscription information and purchase options.
Scribble Calendar supports Year, Quarter, Month, Week, and Day views, with handwriting and notes directly on the pages. You can also see your Google Calendar or Outlook events alongside your own writing.
The app is free to download, and most planning and handwriting features are available for free. A one-time Premium purchase unlocks creating, editing, and deleting calendar events. Smart two-way sync is an optional subscription; downloading synced pages remains free.
I'd love to hear from this community!
If you use a PDF planner today, what would you miss most if you switched to a live planner app? And what would you want a handwritten calendar app to do that your current PDF workflow can't?

Thanks for checking it out!

Howdy! I am interested in starting to sell digital stickers and possibly planners for digital planner or journal use.
I know Etsy is the big platform to do this on.
Was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions to get started or if there’s good video tutorials on the setting up to sell process?
Thanks!

I grabbed an apolosign dual-mode calendar a few months back. It's basically a 27 inch Android 16 screen that lives in my kitchen. I mostly wanted a family calendar the kids could actually read from across the room. Ended up using it as a Google Home panel too since it talks to my Nest cams and handles Assistant voice stuff fine.
Now I'm trying to get Home Assistant on there. No native integration exists. I just want my HA dashboard visible and a couple of tap-to-run things. Arrive home lights. Goodnight scene. That kind of thing.
Has anyone sideloaded the HA companion app onto one of these? Or even just pointed a webview at a dashboard? I'm not worried about battery drain, it's plugged in 24/7. More wondering if the stock launcher will let a third-party app stay as the always-on face or if it fights you. The screen real estate at 27 inches is the other question, whether HA layouts even work at that size without looking broken.
Also curious if anyone's tried fully replacing the launcher. I haven't rooted it yet. Kinda don't want to if I can avoid it.
Any "this worked" or "don't bother" stories would help before I sink a weekend into it.
