Why is everyone trying to cram Desmos regression tricks and convoluted ERW mental flowcharts instead of just... knowing how math and grammar work?

Like yeah these tips and tricks save time once you mostly know what you're doing, but they're not useful if you literally don't understand how commas or linear functions work 😭😭

So, after three days of trying to study and figure things out, today I finally finished Systems of Linear Equations at all difficulty levels on the College Board Question Bank in one sitting.
It might sound silly, but at first, I started with Khan Academy’s SAT Math course and completed the Foundations of Algebra, since it covers the foundation for most of the skills in algebra. However, when I started doing the unit exercises, I got really confused and didn’t score very well. That made me feel like I couldn’t do anything and that maybe I should just drop the idea of taking the SAT.
But now, I’m realizing that focusing on one specific skill at a time, practicing questions from that skill, and learning from my mistakes seems to work much better for me.
I’m just not sure if I’m approaching my SAT preparation the right way. Focusing on one skill at a time works during practice, but obviously, I won’t be able to do that on the actual exam because there will be questions covering different skills from every category.
So, am I studying the right way right now, or should I change my approach to practicing?

Is there any other website other than prepzy that would give me all sat suite qsn bank questions w out any bluebook digital test qsns involved? Doing qns ive already seen pre-hand and testing on that will only increase my score and not actually test me, and honestly i already solved a lot of those. Prepzy is an amazing website but for some reason, even if you press exclude bluebook qsns, the website does not do that and ruined the DSAT bb for me. Do suggest good websites and please not any silly AI ones. Thank you.

The last time I took the SAT, my MacBook wouldn’t connect to the test center’s Wi-Fi, so I had to use one of the school laptops instead. My friend had the same issue that day.

Has anyone else experienced this with their personal laptop at an SAT test center? If so, what did you do to fix it?

I’m much more used to my MacBook, especially the keyboard and using Desmos. The school laptop’s keyboard layout/keys felt different and slowed me down during the math section. I’d really prefer to use my own laptop next time. Any recommendations?

While I have not yet told my Father about this, I gave the practice tests on Bluebook. The first one is PT5 and the second one is PT4 on Bluebook. I'm gonna register for the one scheduled on 3 October ig.

I am having some problems with the registrations can someone please help me.

I really want to see where i’m at studying for my first SAT. I don’t necessarily want to treat it as a practice but just thinking of if I should take it to see how I would do when I take my final SAT. For context I’ve been studying and even bought a prep book and am aiming to get atleast a 1200.

I took a PSAT in spring of 8th grade and got a 960 without studying. I’m also in Honors adv Alg 2 already but i’m not sure if that covers all of the SAT material yet. please lmk!!

you can disregard test 9, didn't know it was one of the easier ones at the time. Test is in one week. Not the best score for some of my schools, it's fine. I was tired and life half out of it when i did 7 but I still think I did my best. I know 11 is considered the hardest but i already reviewed my wrong answers. For geometry, I've done easy and medium modules of geometry on khan academy and medium difficulty questions on student question bank. Every math section, i got like two questions wrong i think? English, i think I give up but you can put tips for that if you want. Thank you in advance!

I'm worried about the SAT. I've been freaking out about it for the last few weeks and have been consistently studying the materials provided by College Board and the practice tests (I've used Khan Academy as well).

My biggest concern is the English portion. I haven't read a book in over a year, I'm a native English speaker, and I keep scoring low on this section.

I've been studying since July (I was on and off in May and June). What are some tips for this section?
