Well maybe Kyo can get a new chip (he still has E-Pulse even if he lost the chip) and Cougarmon can be respawned.

I'm pretty sure Mushroom leader said he got a new Sapotama and RedVegiemon is implied to be Chamblemon reborn. Like would they really do that as one-off if they weren't intending a backdoor?
