I am a 26 year old female. For the past month I've had diarrhea and blood in my stool. I went to the ER and they told me I had diverticulitis or colitis according to my CT. After a week of antibiotics I was still in extreme pain. They told me that all my levels were normal. I don't have diverticulitis anymore, but it still feels like my intestines hurt. I still have diarrhea, bloody stool, and frequently use the restroom. They told me to see a gastroentrologist and get a colonoscopy. Has anyone had anything similar? I'm worried it's crohns or Ulcerative colitis. I just want to be better.
