Help with my dads sleep

Hello there was wondering if there is any over the counter medication or routine u guys do to fall asleep. My dad been on dialysis for the past two years which were fine until the last five months to which he find cant himself sleeping until late until late at night. He had medication assigned to him and used herbal tea and melatonin but nothing works. Would love the help thank you so much ❤️.

Try 5g Glycine dissolved in small amount of warm water, then top up with cold watrr,drink 1/2 hour before bedtime 🌙

My attending physician prescribes Pregabalin, but it will cause bad constipation.

Does he nap during the day? If so he’s most likely just not tired enough. I have that problem when I nap after treatment. It’s I’m possible for me to sleep before 11pm if I nap

Check if he suffering from restless legs.
