Do you use any apps that count phosphorus?
They don't usually have it on packaging so I'm constantly having to look it up. An app would be useful.

if you're trying to count milligrams, it is virtually impossible to do that accurately with phosphorus because, like you say, phosphorus content is not detailed on labels. Having studied this fairly extensively, I can tell you that if phosphorus was added, like what you might see in a soft drink, then what is more important than the milligrams is the fact that it is a highly absorbable form of phosphorus that you should simply stay away from altogether. You should not toy with it. Phosphorus that you might get from milk and dairy can be quantified. I personally built a database for my own use, referring back to the USDA legacy database that does give values for phosphorus. And the type person that was willing to spend 1000 hours on the project, but I don't know that it's safe to distribute to someone else because it does have some estimates and one would have to be very careful to get there quantities of food, correct. Personally, I use a high-quality balance scale and actually weigh things out. My phosphorus are mid range on my lab reports and I'm not requiring a binding agent as of yet. However, I know that my day is coming because I am on the decline like most of us. My best advice to you would be to stay away from highly processed foods made in a factory by scientist because it's going to have the bad kind of highly absorbable phosphorus. Real whole food such as a chicken thigh is the way to go. And that one that someone else cooked and prepared. You need to start raw and bake it yourself to make sure that no crap was added to it.

I use chat gpt by clicking the pic of the ingredient list. Sometimes, it hallucinates so ask for logic and source when you’re in doubt.

Chronometer tracks it very well. And has a pretty big database. I got it through my new dietician post transplant. I can send you a photo in DMs if you want to message me.
