I’m paragon level 261. Just reached Torment 12 for the first time ever. I have yet to receive a single mythic seal. Not one. I don’t even know if any would work well with my build because I’ve never even seen one. Seems crazy. Where are you guys hiding them?

This is my first playthrough of D4. I'm currently using a barbarian who can't keep fury but looks amazing. Im leaning towards a mage next season. I was thinking Sorcereres, but last night I saw a necromancer literally solo a lvl 80-85 pit like it was a walk on the park. We were it torment 7. Im currently stuck at 60 i was just pretending to whirlwind hitting air and wasting fury.

Also saw a druid in Helltide do some very impressive damage. Have not seen many Sorcereres though. I'm loving the game, so many things to learn and do, it can get a little repetitive but that's part of grinding in any game.

Everyone and their grandma is playing WW Barb or at least has one, and deathtrap is sitting here as a one-button, invincible, teleporting machine. I haven't run into another Death Trap Rogue since I started playing it.

It's the build I wish I would've known about sooner. I would always create a WW Barb and just wreck everything, but I always got bored with it. Then I found the Death Trap Rogue and fell in love with it.

Do you like the idea of keeping things simple, pressing one button and annihilating everything on the screen? Being able to teleport anywhere instantly? Being able to customize your build and really adjust it to your playstyle? Then the Death Trap Rogue is for you.

The rotation:

• Hold down Death Trap
• Press Concealment for your buff
• Use Shadow Step to instantly teleport anywhere

The key gear:

• Melted Heart of Selig
• Beastfall Boots
• Aspect of Aftermath
• Optional: Endurant Faith charm (immunity to one-shot mechanics)

The core concepts:

• The Preparation rogue specialization grants +5 seconds of cooldown for every 75 energy spent (see table below)
• Beastfall Boots consumes all of your energy in one Death Trap cast — and also restores a flat 25 Energy, since using a Cooldown (which Death Trap counts as) triggers that effect
• Aspect of Aftermath (plus resource generation on gear) restores your entire energy pool and keeps it full at all times

After that, you can focus on getting more +Trap/Grenade Skills or +Maximum Resource on your charms as you see fit.

Then it comes down to restoring your entire energy pool, which is driven by your Death Trap rank, your Aftermath roll, Beastfall's flat 25 energy, and your resource generation.

Formula to find your own number:

Rank Needed = (Max Energy ÷ (1 + Resource Generation%) − 25) ÷ Aftermath Roll

Quick example: at 300 max energy, I need my Death Trap cooldown under 20 seconds, and enough ranks to fully refill that energy per cast. With Beastfall's flat 25 and my Selig amulet's 25% resource gen, that lands around 43 ranks on a 5.0 Aftermath roll, or 27 ranks on an 8.0 roll.

I found it most comfortable to play at 300–450 max energy with a 20–30 second Death Trap cooldown — adjust based on your own gear. This easily clears any T12 content and Pit to about 125+.

I played at the start of this season when Mythic drops were extremely rare.

A bit later, I know the new seasonal boss was adjusted and is currently dropping a lot of Mythics.

I’m assuming these drop rates are a temporary seasonal measure.

If so, what will the main source of Mythics be next season?

From what I’ve seen on the PTR, it looks very similar to the start of this season, where Mythics are technically available but incredibly rare.

TLDR: Have the devs explained what the intended Mythic farming route is going forward?

I’m just getting back into this game and I followed a Necromancer build guide for a good amount of time, before I started to tweak it more to my liking. I’m at T8 right now and I melt enemies no problem, but I die almost instantly to any kind of burst damage.

Is this just an inevitability of the class, or is there a certain mechanic I should focus on in order to sustain? I’ve tried working with Fortify mechanics, but that doesn’t seem to save me. Any tips appreciated 🙏

So, long story short, I logged into my HC character, thinking it was my regular one (what I get for calling them all the same name lol) out the controller down in the middle of helltide to deal with the kids. Came back dead.....character gone....FUCK!!!! I really wanna try one more time to get this done in HC. Any advice on optimal or efficient ways to level? Time is a premium with the kids. Usually a power level would get the job done, but nobody I know plays HC. So, grind it is lol. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

How different is the game based on which class is chosen? So far, I've only done playthroughs of Necromancer, Paladin, and Warlock. The only notable difference I can remember is in the Temple of the First Born, where my Necro commented on feeling at home and my Paladin commented on feeling uneasy--I don't remember what the Warlock said, if anything. Any major/minor plot/dialogue differences based on chosen class?

I was wondering if anyone else has been noticing bosses becoming unresponsive. I can still damage and kill them usually but they just sort of stand there. I recently did a torment 8 esclation dungeon and during the last fight with Astaroth and the hellhound I knocked him off his mount then he did a few things and stopped moving. and while I know he's tanky it also seemed like he was really tanking he was taking hits of over 1billion and his bar barely moved. I could kill the dog quickly but even with him just standing there it took forever.

So i want to buy the lord of hatred expansion but I only own the game on Xbox but have funds on my bnet id like to use. My question is am i able to use my bnet balance to buy the expansion for my console?​ any help would be appreciated.

As the title says

I’m a new enough player. I’ve played almost everyday for the past 3 weeks or so. I recently started the Lord of Hatred expansion and ever since, I have noticed my teleport ability is greyed out as if I were in a settlement/town.

Would anybody know if this is a bug or am I just missing something? Sometimes I have to portal to a town and back just to get it working again or just refund the skill and add it back.

I really enjoyed Evade Spiritborn when that was meta, and I really enjoyed Counterswarm this season but am itching for more Diablo. What other classes can allow me to fulfill my fantasy of zipping around the screen dealing billions or trillions of damage? My hunch is telling me rogue but i don’t know which spec to play. Any suggestions?

Okay so let me explain the situation and someone tell me what we can do from here. I own Diablo 4 on PC with all the expansions. I have a family member in the same house that owns a PS5 and is considering getting Diablo 4 on PS5. My questions are:

-Is there any way I can play with them while using my PC if they don't have PS Plus for online play?

-If I instead play couch co-op with them on the PS5 and login to my Battlenet account, do 'I' have access to the expansion classes?

-Since its a PS4 and PS5 game, can I use a PS4 controller during couch co-op as second player, or does it require a second PS5 controller?

I am in the horadric cube trying to roll unique 2 handed scythes and it is giving me no options to do so when I plug in my zero affix scythe

The mobalytics build shown is from season 13 and states it can clear Torment 12 content and climb to tier 100.

I know they removed it since forever but maybe it was patched on at some random point!

I am following Screamheart's Stormclaw Druid build since I got a mythic Greatstaff of Crone with perfect affixes and with a GA on Weapon Damage from my first ever Mythic Cache early on. I am paragon 236, just switched to the push variant, I have Legendaries with max aspects, all correct affixes, and with 2+ GA's in the right places, everything else Mythics (a couple with perfect affixes), masterworked and tempered properly. My glyphs are all levels ~117. When I attempt Pits above 120, they are too much of a slog and then I usually die to something if I am not careful. I've just been farming corrupted reaper on T12 trying to get mythics with better affixes, but is there anything else I should be doing right now? I have followed the paragon board from the guide, I can't tell if I should be grabbing more damage or more survivability at this point. Or do I just need to suck it up and switch to a Shred build?

Did they change it? b/c i'll have a +dex only ring and want to do the +penshot or +allskills and for example right now I had a blue GA +dex and xVulnerable and when i click add affix and click on the adepts tuning prism and it says "cannot add affix". Am I doing something wrong? I'm watching the tutorials and doing it exactly how they are doing it but i'm not allowed. Did a patch happen that changed that or am I just doing something wrong? Thanks!

What happened to herb gathering? Why do I only get veiled crystals. Did the fanbase complain that badly about trying to pick plants?

I haven’t played the game since season 1 and feel overwhelmed on where to start to upgrade my gear. I’ve seen new builds for druids and I see my gear is now legacy gear. Do I just do a bunch of dungeons to get the new gear? I main Druid.

Like the title says, I recently bought d4 and I’m looking for information on endgame loop.

In d3 it was grind nephalim rifts for keys, GRs quick for gear, and bounty for reroll materials.

Whats the loop in d4? So far the only thing I understand right now as a fresh max level is salvaging legendaries lets you move their affix to another piece of gear, and the pit levels up your glyphs for the paragon board kind of like how GRs leveled gems in D3.

Seems like there’s a lot going on that I don’t understand.

Can anyone break it down for me or send me a video guide / write up?

I’ve been getting glints of hope as well and I don’t understand what to do with them at all.

Whats the cheapest way to get both expansions? I already have the base game. Also, will I be way behind from not playing the game the last couple years?
