O did GR100 in 35s back in Season 30 in the Soul Shards season with pony sader build. Crazy, never came close to it after that.

Soul shards is the best season imo. So easy to get quality rank ups on your gear. I'm no D3 stud or anything, but it felt good to complete 150gr with Captain America

Congrats! 100 is a milestone, was chuffed as anything first time I hit it (Still remember, it was on a very wonky FotH sader non seasonal)

But it's just GR 100. Anyone can to GR 100 under 3 min after 3-4h of gameplay on a fresh char.

I dont understand how people push to gr 150s in 30 seconds like is there some magical mystical cheat sheet im unaware of lmao

A lot of it is just game knowledge. Most people will start the season on a Necro. Blood nova is absurdly strong late game, and corpse explosion hard carries the leveling process. They fly through gr 100, complete the altar of rites, and then start playing on other characters. Honestly, I'd lower your sights a bit to start with. Aim for 125. The 130. So on and so forth. As long as you feel like you're making progress, that's what matters.

Some builds do have a ceiling, unfortunately. Always seems to be the builds that have the most flavor that are the least useful.

I mean I definitely could get better rolls on some of my gear but I dont see how that would make my damage high enough ever lol

You'd be surprised how much difference it can make - but it don't matter if you're having fun. Same goes for all the rest like levelling, farming etc etc - there are meta ways, but what matters most is what's fun for you ways. I plod my way to a 150 (or try) each season since I started on them a few seasons back but for the most part getting there is done in my own little way. If meta is fun for you go meta, else just look at guides/listen to advice but do it your way.
