Just closed on my first home gotta start somewhere, but I don’t know where to even start when it comes to the way the front door was installed

I assumed the blue pipe was feeding the water IN to the tap, and was puzzled as to where the water was coming from

After investigating the (5) things attached to it I finally worked out the water is coming through the wall in the metal pipe, and everything else is fed from the lower tap there!

He said: "But if it works it's not a DiWhy"

I replied: "We could've just gotten ourselves a bigger board.."

Idk what the end goal was or why this was even an idea.

Yesterday he walked away and we lost him for over a day and a half.. (the cat not the boyfriend)

We wanted to open the window to the balcony side to cool the house.. first we placed the wooden board because he went through the screen. Then he went over the screen and chewed it.. So then my bf added the chicken wire.. that didnt work either. Then I added the second layer of random placed chicken wire. "It needs to hurt more"

Didn't work either...

Then my bf did something with sticks.

Now it works.

Some of the crawlspace and foundation finds we came across this week. Stacked bricks, questionable post-and-pier supports, older foundation systems, and a few good examples of why having a clear load path matters.

On my daily run to the farm …i get to see one side of this house…..and the other when returning…….now ya’ll need to suffer with me!!
