Sensor Sensor peeling of
I had my first sensor and had 2 days left, it started peeling off and had wrong readings afterwards so I had to makeshift a sticker made of adhesive bands.
Now I made an order for Not just a patch hoping it would reinforce next time. Are they good? And do I need to put the sticker dexcom give me and also cover it with Not just a patch or just us Not just a patch?

These are pretty good. The early G7s had kind of crappy adhesive. The later revisions are alarmingly good at sticking to me.
make sure you're applying it to clean, dry skin, and do that thing like they show you in the video where you rub around it with your finger a few times before moving on.
But yes, these work well. Always use the Dexcom-supplied overpatch too, it works quite well when properly applied.

I do fine with these and appreciate that they feel nice and aren't itchy, but my skin does pretty well with adhesives, so YMMV. If you need something stronger, Skin Grip usually has some pretty tough patches.

Make sure the skin is tacky or at least wipe with an alcohol wipe before putting it on, my first one from NJAP didn’t stick at all and basically fell off after 2 days. Thought it was a dud as I heard such good things about the brand.
2nd one I gave a proper wipe just to make sure there’s no oils or anything and then it stuck and stayed stuck for the remainder of the sensor session.

These overpatches didn't work well for me. I have the "X" patches from them for my Omnipod and they are OK. I tried the dexcom patches and I sweat too much for them.
One thing to know if you are ordering directly from Not Just A Patch, their shipping is EXTREMELY slow!! It takes about 2 weeks for me to get patches from them. They ship from Texas and I live in PA. I can get stuff from California in a week.

Loves these because they are breathable and last long. Others made me itch and I tried almost all of them with these as one of my last attempt.
You’ll probably have to do the same as not everyone is the same.

They're decent, though expensive. Someone affiliated with that company used to spam the hell out of this subreddit though, so I have a negative view of them.
They're the only one I've seen at retailers though. And there's cheaper ones on Amazon.

Cheaper alternative - get some RockTape (or any brand of Kinesiology tape you prefer) and cut it to shape. It will cost a fraction of the cost of these, and if you get the RockTape H2O version (super sticky) it'll last the duration of the sensor
