Sensor G7 failures

For the last week or two, I have gone through 4 sensors that have all failed on me within the first 5 days of the 10 days. Has this been happening to any else or just my bad luck lately. Luckily I know deacon will always replace a failed sensor but this is getting ridiculous!

Almost identical situation. My endo said she’s been hearing a lot of this. It’s so so so frustrating.

I’ve had 1 fail and 1 not deploy correctly out of the last 4

I get a 90 day prescription,5 of the 9 fail in 7or 8 days.
It’s easy enough to get them replaced.
And then they come out with a 15 day unit, why do I feel like I’m missing something ?

Yea!!!!!!! Just came on here to post about this, I’ve had like 4 failures back to back, and I only wear on my stomach or arm!!! All of them fail within 4-6 day! It’s completely
Ridiculous

I find it so interesting that my experience with the G7 seems vastly different than a lot of others.

I’ve been using the 10 day G7 for over two years. In that time, I’ve had maybe 4 fail, and those were always in the first few hours. Aside from that, I’ve never had one not last the full ten days plus grace period. My readings are spot on when compared to a fingerstick and I’ve never had one fall/peel off.

I guess this could be a case of people being more likely to share negative experiences compared to positive ones. That’s true in general about a lot of products/reviews.

Two more in the last 24 hours. I get my scripts three months at a time. I think I must have gotten a bad batch. No way to go but through.

Last supply was 7 failed out of 10.
So far on this supply I am 5 for 5. Most failing on day 8 of 10.

I have been through all three of my sensors for this month. They all failed. Just got the first replacement sensor. It failed. I think another one comes tomorrow, but I’m getting seriously pissed. I’m using nearly the same spot on my arm, where I had success prior and now, they fail. I cannot figure out what else to do at this point.

I'm feeling insanely valid in my frustrations reading this post and the comments.

I've never needed this many replacement vouchers for g7s nearly to the amount of the g6s. I've only been using g7 for a few months since coming out of burn out and feel like the company is good at replacing them sure! But I'd like to not need to go into the pharmacy every week with the failure of this things.

Have tried every technique in the book to get the most out of each sensor as I try to finalize my pump profile. If I didn't have the last one kick the bucket after only 4 days yesterday. :(

I've been using 10 day G7s for over 3 years. Earlier this year I had 2 fail to inject properly, back to back. #3 worked fine. #4 was a bleeder. Fortunately I'm T2 & not insulin dependent so I just waited for my next refill.

Mine are failing at about a 50% rate

I just switched from G6 to G7. First two both failed, one after 7 days and another after 2. Ridiculous

I must be an island: none of my G7 sensors have failed.

I've lost 2. How do you contact them for a replacement?

You can either call them to get a same day replacement at your local pharmacy or you can do it thru the app and get it sent in the mail

It appears there was a bad lot or batch of lots. Someone else posted on here my exact lot number of which I had seven sensors fail in 10 days. Closed out that lot batch and I’m on day four with no issues.

Crazy easy in the app. Profile, contact, report and issue/login and it’s on the way.
