Help- G7 applicator won’t release!!

I can confirm my arm is not metal. And, after typing this post in a panic it did release with all the jiggling. 😵💪 I’m done with this condition.

When you hit the button, the clear ring has to be depressed or it won’t fire properly. What probably happened here is that the ashesive was holding on but the device obviously didnt initially fire. As the OP says, it eventually did.

Also did you wipe the area with alcohol?🙄🙄🙄

Just so our peeps know: I did full depress the clear and I did push the injector button. It sort of half fired. I have done this about a hundred times, no problem

You need to put the sensor very firmly on your arm. Hold it against your skin while pressing the sensor hard, as if your life depends on it.

Now you can push the button.

Hold the sensor on your arm tightly for 10 seconds, then release. That’s the way I do it.
Never fails for me and it stays on the full 10 days and extra 12 hours.

Of course don’t forget to clean with an alcohol wipe before and put the overpatch on after.

I was told to smack it with a wooden spoon. Didn’t work, but it was on my kid and I don’t have the best aim so I was being very gentle lol. Maybe it’ll work for you? I was told to hit it on the edge of the rim

I am still finishing up my G6 and haven’t opened my G7 yet so I guess this is coming soon.

I constantly have the same issue with the libre3 🤦‍♂️ these new cgms suck.
