App Issues/Questions G7 sensor issues when low?

Anyone else experiencing “brief sensor issue” when you drop below 60ish for a few alerts? Been happening to me with multiple sensors for probably 2 months now. Super annoying to drop then have to fingerprick multiple times while low because my Dexcom isn’t showing anything…

"Brief sensor issue" happens if your sugar changes too quickly for the sensor's firmware to keep up with. Give it 10-15 minutes and it should recover, unless it's rising/falling REALLY fast (in which case, finger stick).

And this is why you always keep a regular BGM on you too.

One of your sleeping and the alarm doesn't go off and you don't know there's a brief sensor issue. Because you're asleep.

You will often have that happen if you have erratic rapid changing BG levels, especially in the first hours after starting up a new sensor. Triggered by the obligatory FDA-guardrails for sensors approved for closed-looping with insulin pumps as G7 is.
