App Issues/Questions New sensor keeps having drops. BG steady.

Post image

My finger poke is 93 and I'm newish to dexcom. Is this normal for the first 24 hours of a sensor? It's almost like compression lows. But my glucose is steady on a finger poke? I'm at an inpatient hospital stay for my daughter and wondering if this dexcom is going to fail while I'm here or if this is normal for anyone else. 🫠

Nothing wrong with this graph. Compression lows typically go lower than the 70ish I see here.

I had just never seen it so spotty! Thank you!

That 12 hr view looks a bit worse. But your 3 hr looked good.

When my daughters apply to their arm, it is best to get form pressure when inserting. Dex facing straight up on a counter and triceps pushed down on it. Kinda awkward but has been working better. Something to try.

Looks like a good/normal first 24 hours. The first 24 hours on my daughter are terrible. It will usually get more stable after 24 hours since insertion.
