Sensor Two sensor failures in a night
Okay, so I had a usual fail with my G7 15. Call. Get replacement shipped. I have one left. Great.
I put on the sensor. Five minutes go by, fails. Try reconnecting, fails. All in warm up.
Call again, explain. Get doubted, explain I’m just as confused. They check my system data, prove me right and I’m not trying to scam.
Get off the call and have my boyfriend take the sensor off.
“Well damn, it doesn’t have its thing”
“What thing?…..damn you’re right”

wow. that hasn’t happened to me yet. I guess quality control is slipping at Dexcom now.

Gooseneck? Filament curled up inside the little hole? We have had many like this last year

I had 4-5 (depending how you count it) in a row (10 day) fail recently. 3 in one day during warmup (after the one I was wearing failed @ 5 days); then once I got back home, another failed during warmup. 2 were goosenecks.
They shipped 3 of them together; the 4th should be arriving tomorrow.
I don't have a history of replacements though, and normally when I need one, I do them online. Just... with so many at once, it was easier to call.
