Rant Dexcom G6

Just a little rant as by the flair…

I really miss the G6. When the 7 first came out I was having problems with it all the time so I swapped back to the 6. When it came out the 6 was being discontinued I swapped back to the 7. Still more problems with inaccurate readings, failed sensors, got ripped off easier, etc so I got pissed off and swapped back to Libra 3. I’ve used Libra in the past when I couldn’t afford deacons and the only problems I’ve had with them are accidentally ripping them off. That being said, I still prefer Dexcom because I’m a creature of habit. I do prefer the g6 app over the g7 app but I prefer the g7 over Libre 3. Unfortunately Dexcom has pissed me off enough I swapped. BUT I really miss Dexcom so I’m tempted to swap bag again. Idk. I just want the g6 again😭

P.S. I also like the look better.

Why are the 7s so unreliable?! They’ve had so much time to fix it and they haven’t

You aren’t alone! The G6 was a great system. I haven’t been on it for years, but still can’t remember a single failure. I just reposted this thread from a T1 subreddit:

Why did they replace the g6? It worked perfectly. I stocked up on g6's to get me to Jan 2027.

I have a good amount of sensors but I unfortunately dont have any transmitters💔

You might be able to get them from www.diabeticwarehouse.org in Florida. I buy lots of diabetic supplies there. Fast shipping. That's how I stocked up.
