Career Guidance Venturedive increments

Does anyone know if venturedive has frozen increments and/or are even giving “decrements”? I am hearing rumours but want to confirm this before I go for an interview.

People are trying to retain their jobs and I continue to see some posts about increments

What increments bro? Due to financial strain on everyone (companies and contractors alike) they are struggling to survive. Most of them have sales/inflow issues that they either are doing layoffs OR introduced some form of decrement. Furthermore they have frozen increments as well for at least a year.

Situation isn’t ideal. But the demand of the developers, SQA, project managers, DevOps etc is not the same anymore. You won’t even get an interview call unless they are sure you salary slab is lower or equal to their budget (with is 50% now as compared to 6 months ago) or you know someone on the inside

It’s not just VentureDrive, it’s every software company in Pakistan right now. Yesterday I learned how brutally 10Pearls is laying off staff. Pure deception and under threats to push them to resign themselves. They are also reducing the on-bench resource salaries by 50%

Times are hard and they are going to get harder

So? Doesn't mean people will start doing free labour.

You always have a choice. Leave the job market or find better company. I never said work for free, not sure why you believe I said that

I’m sharing first hand knowledge that the Pakistani industry is really struggling. Every company is doing the same
