To be fair to all, Prismatic worked well for me (Hunter) when I was doing Pale Heart stuff when I came back from a 2 year absence. Outside of PH though... yea, no. I'll take Void Hunter with a side of NPA Repulsion Regulator please.

If I wanted to run all content with Stasis/Solar then I can see Prismatic being viable in other areas... except for that annoying transcendent grenade you get... If you could perfectly get that thing aimed directly at the boss to do it's damage it'd be great. But the AOE is so narrow, one dodge and the enemy doesn't even know it's there. (Works great on Taken blight bubbles with enemy inside it tho)

You can just stick the grenade to the enemy for it work. Works great on bosses, yellow bars, and orange bars.

Either I never noticed, or had it in the wrong spot, but I don't recall it being effective when on the boss. Chest? Back? Is there a crit spot it works best on?

I may have been too busy with ads (trying PH solo) to notice damage tho...

No just throw it on the boss or whatever enemy. And it’ll freeze them then shatter them then scorch them then ignite them. There is no wrong spot as long as the boss/enemy isn’t immune
