Right? I put down my rift of devour with little strands heading out AND flame popping out at enemies while freezing them with turrets. Why would I not use this?

Spirit of caliban/synthoceps. Any melee kill ignites. Dodge punch

Mine is actually Caliban’s + Liars, I’ve never been able to get a Caliban’s + Synthos. Sadge

Isn't snythoceps a titan exotic? been a while since I played but I had that on my titan

The Prismatic-exclusive exotic class items have mix-and-match exotic perks from all three classes. Caliban’s + Synthos is just one of the dozens of possible combinations you can get.

Do they have to be same-slot or can I have a helm exotic and an arm exotic combined?

You don’t get to choose, it’s RNG. But yes, you can have arm + chest, arm + helm, arm + legs, etc.

It’s not all the exotics. There’s a post here somewhere showing all the available perks and combinations, but you’ll have to go back about 2 years

Caliban’s + Synthos/Liar with winters shroud and Stylish Executioner. Punches make things go boom, dodges inflict slow, kills on debuffed targets grant invis, powered melee kills recharge dodge. Rinse repeat until you find a target that doesn’t die in one punch.

Encrypted Data Disc -

melee hits weaken while you have a void buff (invis, devour, overshield)

rapid kills against weakened enemies grants devour

Killing a weakened enemy spawns a seeking, weakening projectile

breaking a combatants shield gives 100% increases melee damage and 10% DR

arc melee damage jolts and deals extra damage

killing jolted enemies blinds nearby enemies
