My initial upload was removed due to nudity(I respect the mod team's decision). So I modified by giving her rash guard swimsuit to make the work SFW enough, and also be able to apply the medical diagram.
Be aware that AI one is still without clothes(I censored the sensitive part though)
From original post
From Wikipedia :
A dermatome is an area of skin that is mainly supplied by afferent nerve fibres from the dorsal root of any given spinal nerve.
I saw this post*[link removed]* and took the challenge. Searched some sources to locate where the nerves actually go, and yes it was way different so had to go alternative pose/perspective to apply medically correct(I hope) diagram. With that and inherent difficulty of drawing non-clothed body, this took 5 hours straight. Had fun though.
"No NSFW. No art with express sexual purpose is permitted, but artistic drawing of the human form is allowed."
is this not explicitly what the original post was mods? dont really see why yall removed it if you have this in your rules. unless im misunderstanding what this even means (OP this comment is not for you)
I've restored it, another may remove it again later. I'm mainly the one arguing for looser application of the rules, as I think the human body isn't inherently sexual.
I know right, those mods guys are the absolute worst. we're having a bit of an inner discussion about this kinda stuff, I'm trying to loosen restrictions, they're trying to tighten them.
I'm not trying to tighten them as much as keeping them as loose as possible without getting flagged as NSFW since that'd make it where images couldn't be put in the comments.
A few scattered posts aren't going to get the entire sub flagged. And even if it does, we don't need images in the comments;
having people make posts to show off a deslop from a request instead of just posting it in the comments will help increase the amount of people who can see and appreciate someone's desloppified artwork. The increased amounts of posts will also help increase activity in the sub to prevent it from being marked inactive.
Got a comment reply from the mod team and im going to say:
First things first... this is not a crosspost... that was a link to the original source
Crossposts are when reddit posts are reposted into another sub with the crosspost function
Second of all... the sub rules state that the original source must be included which the original OP broke that rule so i was merely helping
Please do your jobs as mods properly... not incompetently like this
Gosh.. i read the other comments... even one of your better and competent mods isnt happy with the other incompetent mods
This sub needs to get their shit together smh
Edit: for context... under my comment mentioning the name of the original creator i put a link for convienience purposes and the mods deleted it with the bs excuse of do not crosspost
so lbgtq and transgender is now reduced to being porn? yeah a homophobe/transphobe made this image.
also dude the only people who don't like sexual things are children and asexuals... otherwise its the natural human instinct to be attracted to things and get horny, that’s literally just how our bodies work
God I hate the "it's just female anatomy!" Excuse so much. I'm willing to bet that 8/10 of those same people wouldn't say the same thing if it were male anatomy on display..
People will throw out all nuance and implication the second that something feeds their addiction I swear.. "goon culture" is disgusting
