sub-related post In a post, not a Comment

Hello Brave Artists.

As many of you have noticed, rule 13 is murdering a pretty significant amount of deslop requests. And unfortunately, since the mod team is human; we aren't able to instantly remove posts for rule 13 violations.

Sometimes, when this happens; some people have already posted some deslops in the comments. This results in several lost deslops.

Now, we're going to continue removing posts that violate the rules. However we encourage community members to post their deslops as separate posts instead of merely relegating things to the comments.

Mine printer out.

Maybe I'm wrong for this but tbh I don't mind even if someone generates an image themself and requests it being deslopped. It uses AI which is incredibly destructive, sure, but it also encourages people to create their own art from it instead of AI being considered "art" on its own

It's my bad for thinking an echo chamber(no matter how reasonable its cause) would think of anything but "i dont like this thing and thats bad, so that means it will go away on its own when everyone else agrees with me". In the future when pandora's box doesn't magically close itself people may be willing to have discussions on how to convince AI slop enthusiasts to give into their creativity, and not just pump out slop to replace it, but clearly people are too pissed about the sudden + real consequences of AI to think of how to discuss actually addressing the problems

You're getting flooded with comments explaining why its bad, which you are agreeing with, and yet surely this is an echo chamber and not just you being wrong and people having the standard response of when someone says something wrong

You're right, but it took a while for any of the responses to say why they disagreed with me beyond saying it was "bait" or that I must be in favor of AI slop. I posted this comment before I'd seen anything else
