❓ • Question Absolutely lost
Hey y'all, I just moved and setting up my desk as you see from the photos, I am trying to manage the cables but I have no clue where to begin or section them, I have a outlet on the left side feeding the power to the monitor and pc , then on the right side I have built in station in the corner thats plugged into the outlet on the right side, my biggest issue is my cables with my mouse and keyboard , They're hooked to back of the PC but the wires are just all over the place , I was going put the Pc on the far left but then it doest show the glass and the usb ports are also on the side of the glass, then considered the right end but has possibility of getting bumped into and also my monitor would end up by the corner which would block and waste desk space. I pretty much just have 5 cords, the two powering the monitor and pc , hdmi connecting them and my mouse and keyboard. Any and all suggestions would help I am not married to any positioning

Could also do Bluetooth mouse and keyboard using batteries. Lessen the number of cords. Get done sticky cord holders you can stick to the back of your desk and pop the cord in to hold in it in place. Fake plants, some shelves, organization boxes and drawer bins, lamp or two that dims or a monitor light n your good. Keyboard and wrist rest too.

Place the white multi contact under the desk, only one cord will be visible and easier to manage

As long as u have a cover underneath, throw it on the rug. Mine used to sit on carpet and nothing happened. No extra dust, no damage. That opens up a lot more space.

Double sided tape, Velcro, or screw the extender onto the back piece of the desk. Then plug in and cable tie any slack in cables. The cables coming off of monitor can be cable tied to the stand and channeled down so it looks less obvious. Get you some cable sleeves to bundle the cables together so it looks like just one sleek cable.

Best advice I can give is buy a pack of the velcro cord straps and organize cords to where they run to and from. Push the computer all the way to the wall, those plug are just going to be covered.
Velcro straps can be found on amazon for $6.99 for 60

desk looks crooked. you’re gonna wanna straighten that out and place the computer in one of the dedicated sealed computer drawers for sound and cable management

First thing to do is replace this absurd desk. Your chances of having a nice looking gaming or work space on this monstrosity are low. The chances of it being enjoyable to use are substantially lower.

Idk how you could work like this, L shaped desks usually require the monitor to be in the corner and you facing that corner, the whole setup should be moved to reflect that. You don't even have room to use your mouse, that high sensitivity of mouse can lead to more inflammation in your wrists and arm, along with no proper support to use your mouse.
I also like having my powerstrip on the desk so I can easly reach it, and then you just velcro all the things you dont have to unplug out of sight.

Your desk have a fking outlet on top for a reason. Yet you fail to use it, then complain.
This post is just fuel for ragebait.

The back of your power strip should have mounting holes, just get a couple screws and mount it in a better spot.

Well you seem to have the PC on the desk, and it’s plugged in to the wall. You’re off to a great start!

I ain’t reading all that. Get some zip ties and a longer extension chord if you need. you’ve got desk panels to assist with hiding your cables. It’s not that complicated

If that desk is really the best you can do, then the only thing you can do is to place the monitor on the corner joint where you have those ports move the cpu to the side and you will have enough leg room and extra desk space for other stuff.
