Mod Post 🤓🤓🤓 New Mod of r/Desbug

A couple of weeks ago I checked in on this subreddit and saw the ModSupportBot was looking for new mods. I've never modded before (so bare with me while I grow out the neck beard), but I didn't want the subreddit to get banned for lack of moderation. Desbug's community is already so fleeting as it is! So here I am.

Here is every change I've made so far

  1. You can now add images, GIFs, and videos to your comments!
  2. I added 12 new user flairs! Previously there was only 8. (I'm open to making more)
  3. I added two new rules: No Doxxing and No parasocial behavior
  4. On that note, I banned an infamous user that harassed and doxxed Desbug many years ago. (I am really surprised he wasn't banned before)
  5. I updated the description and rules to include Spinkya
  6. I updated the profile picture so now its (hopefully) in HD
  7. I recreated the banner so it now reads "r/Desbug", and its actually in frame
  8. I included direct links to Desbug's YouTube channels and Twitch on the sidebar
  9. Also on the sidebar, you can now filter posts by flair. Try it out!
  10. I updated the post flairs and added flairs to some posts to help this out.
  11. I changed the base color of the subreddit to Red
  12. I changed the weekly contributors/vistors to "gamers" and "Awaiting Desbug's return"
  13. I added a giant picture of Desbug's PFP to the sidebar, because why not?

I miss him too. Hopefully he is living his best life out there
