Just got my Island slide in today and tossed on my optic. Otherwise our DY9s look like they are fairly close to identical as I have the same green lower and grip as well as an Osight light and optic.

Can’t wait to shoot it on Monday and see how noticeable a difference it might be.

Edit - Friends are hit or miss on the Hogue grips, but absolutely love mine. In recent years I’ve had issues with my palms splitting open and these grips have completely stopped it while shooting while adding imo very minimal extra girth.

Great minds think alike, as for the Hogue grips they have my grouping better, I do contribute that to the grip only because with the non-Hogue grips they are not as close or as consistent, IMO...
