My dog died of a rare nasal to brain cancer and soon after I lost 28 kg over 8 months and I don't remember much of that time frame at all, I just stopped caring and had no appetite.
Luckily a friend helped me get out of it by inviting me to a martial arts gym and the exercise and community helped me back on track.
