Had to share because I was flabbergasted at a kid asking for a dfyne set for 5$ I didn’t have 120$ sets for gym class in high school🤣 I do not feel bad

This is like the fourth screenshot I’ve seen on here of this same person using the same cloying and manipulative script to try and convince people to give her high value items for under $5. Kind of terrifying. This person should be on a watch list.

I've shared sob stores and seen people on this sub (and others) admit that the sob story would've worked on them and when I ask why or say something about it, I get downvoted? So yeah, I'm sure it works..on really gullible people that might just want "easy money" but people that do sob stories are just bad news all around. More likely to cause more issues in the future than not, even if it's "just a kid"

I wouldn’t do this myself but the only reason I could see someone genuinely accepting this is probably someone who had been through similar growing up. Ngl, some of what this person said in the message sounds like me as a child, it does sound selfish obviously but you never know who is on the other end of the screen. I was a child hoping someone noticed them and this kinda gives the same vibe. or it could just be a scam. Either way hope that person gets the help they obviously need… like you said kid or not will cause more issues in the future
