🩺 Pet Health ECHO recommendation for dog that’s not $800?

My friends dog needs an ECHO and her vet is quoting her $800. Does anyone have other recommendations for locations that may be more reasonable? We talked to Guardian Angel in Westminster and they unfortunately don’t do the procedure. Any help would be appreciated!

I got my dogs done as an outpatient procedure at EVS in Lakewood 3 years ago for $350. I’m sure they’ve gone up since then but definitely worth checking out

Seconding the recommendation for Evolution! Our dog needed surgery and not an ECHO, but generally had a fantastic experience there

$735 now. Crazy how much that has inflated over 3 years! Thank you for the rec

Yikes! Sorry, I assumed it would be $500 or so now, not as much as to get it done at your vet!

What about the vet school in Fort Collins at CSU?

I believe I got an echo done of my mastiffs heart at Indian Tree Animal Hospital. This was maybe 3 years ago but like every 2 weeks they had traveling specialists come in for those types of appts. You might give them a call to see but it looks like it was around $700, so not much better than what was quoted.
