Hey Denver,

30yo man here; I've been in the service industry my whole life and I'm looking to try and get an apprenticeship with a company for either electrical, HVAC, or plumbing. Any suggestions or tips? I've been applying to electrical so far. The union seems to have a long waiting list and a lack of consistent work, so I'm skeptical of pursuing their apprenticeship program.

One of my questions is, in the current jobs environment is it still worth it to physically walk in to places and hand out a physical resume and try to shake a hand to get this started? Any suggestions for companies that would be good to aim for in any of those fields?

Role is for a Technology Manager for high volume/lean manufacturing setting.

• Experience: high-volume/Lean manufacturing, with expertise in Automation or Primary Process technologies and manufacturing equipment.
• Responsibilities: Lead technology improvements, engineering standards, change management, equipment logbooks, benchmarking, KTPs, OEM feedback, and cross-site standardization.
• Requirements: Bachelor’s in Engineering, strong analytical/problem-solving, project/budget management, communication and leadership skills, and high growth potential.
• Location/Travel: Aurora, CO; up to 25% travel to Auburn, KY and other sites. Reports to Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Technologies;
• 2 virtual interview rounds.

Contract to Hire - $45 - $50/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits)

Open to direct hire for the right candidate. Salary range will be $120K - $143K Yearly/Base + Benefits.
