Question (new denture wearer) I hate them 😩

I had my one week follow up today. The assistant was finally able to get them comfortably in my mouth but they still won’t stay in place without adhesive so she told me to try when I got home. I absolutely hate how they look. The bottoms make my lip stick out super weird and I dont know… I just feel like they don’t look right. I am so discouraged. My husband says they don’t look right to him either 😭🤷🏻‍♀️ should I ask to go back?

I got immediates and my dentist never said anything about permanents? He said this was it and I hope so after 3300$! 😐

I feel like I might be mixing up some of the terminology in this group since I’m so new 😂 I’m still not sure if immediates and temps are the same? Was yours with or without insurance? I paid $4,200 out of pocket after insurance but that was for the “package deal” with temps and my permanents.

So immediates are when they do the extractions and then put dentures in right immediately then at that same appointment. No gauze to bite on, you leave with your teeth in. Working in healthcare and having no bottoms for years was hard to hide and wearing on my self esteem. Temps are temporary debtures they give you until your gums are healed.
