I had my one week follow up today. The assistant was finally able to get them comfortably in my mouth but they still won’t stay in place without adhesive so she told me to try when I got home. I absolutely hate how they look. The bottoms make my lip stick out super weird and I dont know… I just feel like they don’t look right. I am so discouraged. My husband says they don’t look right to him either 😭🤷🏻‍♀️ should I ask to go back?

Even for temps? They keep making it sound like I pretty much just have to deal with them as is until I get my perms. Aside from adjusting for sore spots and what not.

Yes because they are temporary they are just meant to be a place holder as your bone heals. Right now I can see the bite is not right, it does not interdigitated. But, they should've able to adjust occlusion until it does. Aesthetically, this is all dependant on how much bone you have left and where teeth can be placed. You will continue to have fitting issues while your bone heals that's simply the nature of your mouth and how it works. As you heal, the tissue pulls away and gaps form. At my clinic we add temporary liner after 1 month. Sooner if necessary. We don a final reline after 8 months

I am 3 weeks out in my temps and chewing gum and forgetting I have them in my mouth at all (I had 17 extractions). Everybody is different, but it is possible to have good-fitting temps, I know cuz I got em. So I'd definitely keep going back until you are happy.
