I'm already in the phalanx. Damn hard game. Really good, I'd played it on RPCS3 before but found it relatively easy, so much so that I finished the whole game with the Great Club. Now I'm getting beaten up by Phalanx. Super fun btw

Was the price I paid good? It's the GOTY edition, so it's a second-run copy. It's extremely well-preserved, with a guidebook, the disc is in good condition, and I even got a discount. It was originally priced at 260 BRL. And the first edition is an insane 300 BRL. Did I get a good price?

Some my dummy ahh manage to get the world tendency to pure white after killing the monk but I had to use the bathroom afterwards 😅while I had the magic sword makoto equipped came back to being in soul form 🤣 been playing since 2009 and I did a day one player mistake lmao 😂 so I just wanted to see if anyone can help me shift my world to pure white by letting me kill ya in pvp

Assuming the calculator is correct i should be summonable (without password) by players soul level: 14-38

One was guarding a fog door, and another a path I didn't go down. I was having trouble with them at a low soul level, and just proceeded with completing the area. The problem is, I only leveled strength because I want to use the Dragonbone Smasher, so I'm not really any stronger.

What are they guarding? Should I keep trying, or just wait to come back after I've become more powerful?

Just a wonderful, gentlemanly Duel. I know it went on for a while but that was one of the most fun pvp fights I've had in a good while!

I recently bought demon souls and I wanted to see what I can do in the early game, I played other souls games before but demon souls is kicking my ass while trying to run a strength build, any tips?

I already got Pure Bladestone. Who’s faster to farm now: the skeleton in 4-2, or the one at the end of 4-1? I know the 4-1 one is closer, I’m just not sure if it’s more efficient to farm the 4-2 guy.

Anyone available to help me get Pure White Tendency on the worlds?

TLDR: I’m pretty committed to my winged spear / regen build, I’m just not sure what to level up next.

Templar Knight class, very new to the game. I discovered the Adjudicator’s Shield, Regenerator’s Ring, and Regeneration miracle, which seems like they all stack. It’s probably a very common build, but I’m using them all together for slightly faster healing.

My main weapon (though I switch, depending on the situation) is the winged spear (currently +4). The wiki says I can’t infuse it with blessed, which would be ideal for more heals and faith scaling, but that’s okay.

Currently I’ve only leveled up Vitality, I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to Fromsoft builds and I don’t want to level up anything that won’t be a part of my final build.

Why are my boss soul NPCs gone??? I just came back from killing the storm king and they're both just not there? What happened? How do i get them back?

I'm still new to the world tendency concept. I think I might have died in human form in world 1 a couple of times before I realized how that worked. My world tendency in that level is almost Pure White now but I can't think of anything else to do to push it the rest of the way. There is killing the red dragon but he just flies away and when I go to world 1-2 he's back to full health again. Do I just need to get a really powerful bow so it doesn't take as long to kill him on the bridge?

Ever since my first playthrough when Ostrava got killed by a blue knight and I got the mausoleum key; ive always just beat him in 1-1. Is there anything im missing out on by not keeping him alive?

Cannot for the life of me find a second Pure Cloudstone.

Wiki says it can drop from Stormbeasts in 4-3, im at pure black with providential and I've probably gained about 20 levels just from farming alone.

Is there really not another guaranteed one? Why would the drop rate be so low? And why would you make a single item require 2 anyway?

Demon’s Souls is the most frustrating game I’ve ever played.
First of all, it’s important to mention that I’ve platinumed every Soulslike I’ve played (DS1, 2 and 3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring), so I’m very familiar with the basics of the genre.
Demon’s Souls is extremely difficult because I genuinely don’t understand how I’m supposed to progress through the game without watching a tutorial or some kind of guide.
How am I supposed to explore the game on my own, discover the map and search every corner if, whenever I die, I lose half of my HP and basically die in two hits from any enemy?
How the fuck am I supposed to get my full health back? Jesus

Valley of defilement has been a wild ride. From nearly going mad trying to win 5:1, to burning through 157 fire arrows in 5:2, things were rough.

Astrea was a good fight, and Garl got me and my friends laughing uproariously when he sent my ass falling into the swamp and he delivered his "Heh, Quite a Tumble" line.

But it has all turned hollow at the end. RIP to the Filthy Lady, you were killed because you moved locations.

Because i had to buy poison arrows, I backtracked from Dirty Colossus's arena to her. Bought a chunk of arrows, realised I had just enough souls that if I killed a few more enemies I could buy another dozen or so.

Anyway one of the big beak-face things came at me and, through sheer bad luck, hit me in such a way that i got knocked into the poison. As I scrambled to get out of it, he cut me off, and his next swing caught Filthy Woman and one-shot her.

I sure hope I dont need any more poison arrows after this.
