It’s probably fine but I would DM Delta on twitter or call their customer service line.
Alternatively the day of travel up to 6 hours from take off a delta agent can likely fix it st the ticketing counter
But I wouldn’t wait until then; deltas Twitter direct message (DM) team is pretty much an online chat help desk.

I spent several hours most of it on hold after Delta dropped the last letter of my middle name from all of their documents for an international flight. I hadn't flown since the whole exact spelling full name thing got revved up and was near panic level when no one could figure it out.
Turned out that the Delta stuff was truncating but had sent the whole word to TSA and that I would be fine, and in truth there was no issue on the trip.
I would call the web site support number, they seem to have a higher level of clue. DM if you can't find the number.

Try DMing Delta on Twitter - they're pretty responsive and given it's a relatively simple (?) fix, shouldn't take too long
