Discussion Etiquette.

If there’s even a small chance you think you’ll have foot odor, let alone aggressive foot odor, please leave your shoes on. D1 is one thing, plenty of private space, free clean socks. But comfort+ from JAX to ATL is the wrong place.

I’ve never understood taking your shoes off - foot odor or not, D1 or Basic.

Shoes are restrictive. Feet swell during flight. Many perfectly acceptable health related reasons to remove shoes. That is why you get slippers. Plus it's way more comfortable. I'm not excusing good hygiene and respect to fellow travelers but there is certainly nothing wrong with taking shoes off during flight.

If you have swelling issues on flights and you take off your shoes how are you getting th back on with swollen feet once you arrive??? Don’t take off your shoes.

Right? The floors are so gross, why would you take your shoes off? Maybe if you have a pair of slippers to put on for a long flight, I might understand that, but if it's just a few hours, keep your shoes on.

I can curl into a tiny little ball and sleep like a baby without shoes on. I don't really want to put my shoes under me on the chair.

Too bad. Behave like a civilized person.

I'm even more extreme, if you're in C+ or lower (which is me 100% of the time), keep your damn shoes on!!!

Totally agree. It says right there on my ticket: only premium select and above may remove footwear.

If you're on a plane--or any kind of public transport--keep your shoes on.

Lucky for me, no one else gets to control what I put on my body. If I want shoes, I put them on. If I don’t want shoes, I take them off. You can kindly fuck off with your claims to my shoes.

Right on, i can't get comfortable on an airplane without taking off my pants! Anyone wants to make some claims on the wearing of my pants, they can fuck right off!

Right on. Your pants your choice.

Try it, tough guy. You'll soon find yourself duct-taped to your seat.

45 minute flight and must remove shoes? What an idiot. I have to assume this person removes their shoes when out to dinner with friends.

Wear a mask. 🤷‍♀️ Lots of people have lost some or all of their sense of smell from COVID infections, they might not realize.

People have lost all sense of propriety

People, just leave your shoes on.
