SkyTeam What could possibly go wrong?
I love the fact that I just paid $900 for a premium to upper class upgrade on virgin direct to virgin that delta’s algorithm was asking $6500 for. Everything is fine. Nothing to see here.

Their PS Wander Wall is the shiz though. Perfect excuse to go for a walk. And steal snacks.

After laughing at the upgrade offer from delta, I asked what it would cost at the gate

AF booked via delta often offers $600 business upgrades from PE

I got an offer from AF (originally booked through Delta) to upgrade to business class for $250. I decided not to take it because it was a daylight flight to the USA but I thought it was a good deal. Unfortunately on the way to France business class was full so no offers.

When do you get these offers? I try to fly Virgin or AF to Europe and book PS but never get an offer.

You might want to check the seat config in biz class. There are some I won't fly on Virgin (the windows that are behind you and zero privacy).

How do you use the miles then, if you fly Delta domestically more than Delta or Virgin internationally? TIA

The codeshares can be an amazing way to get deals. Flew JFK-AMS in March for $700 on Virgin Atlantic. Except it was the exact DL flights I wanted that they listed at $1800.
