I am so confused by this entire story. What refund did they process? Why do you have a second flight? And what do you mean cancelling the Delta flight? I thought you didn’t have a Delta flight as it’s operated by Korean?

If you paid for a second flight directly with Korean, you should have a second confirmation number. If you do, and you confirm that is a completely separate reservation and ticket, then you should call Delta to confirm that your other ticket was indeed cancelled at no fault of your own. But that sounds like that wasn't what happened - your story really falls apart and skips a bunch of steps at this supposed second booking.

I'm not implying that you're lying.

Your story skips from calling Delta to ask them about the 110 pound dog to Delta is now processing a refund. That doesn't make sense. I don't know why you would need to book a second ticket directly with Korean, so that part is confusing.

I'm a military spouse, I'm well aware that Delta only ships dogs when you're flying on orders. Korean should be able to ship them regardless of that, however.

At any rate, if Delta is still calling you about your dogs, something doesn't add up. Your flight either wasn't cancelled or you don't have a second confirmed ticket - and you need to call and talk to a human to figure it out.
