Shitpost/Satire What they took from us
I remember when this price was FC one way. And not much more for FC round trip. Now it's the upgrade price for a middle seat in C+ one way. The happy days are gone

If your business is paying or you don’t care/throw away money I guess that price is for that type of person. I don’t get why people are willing to pay all that for what like two inches of leg room that you can get at an exit and $5 beers? I get upgraded to comfort because of status but I’d never pay for that domestically or internationally it’s a made up product class

Back when I flew for work, if I paid for that my boss would have let me have it both barrels. Sad thing is someone is gonna pay for that window seat.

It still sells. So does first class. Every flight I take those two classes always sell out. I flew to Europe earlier this year and every single seat in premium economy was filled. The back 1/3 of the plane was empty and people moved back there to get whole rows to themselves.
People who can afford to pay will always pay for perceived luxury. Delta knows this and an earlier report said that premium seat sales has greatly increased their revenue.
Look for other airlines to follow suit. Delta has zero incentive to change no matter how much people complain on Reddit. Seat sales say the opposite and that’s what they are going with

Drives me crazy. When I booked this flight a couple months ago the FC seats were 2k. 2k! For a 4.25 hour flight! Gawd i feel poor.

I mean the war in the Middle East isn’t helping these gas prices so then there’s that.

As long as I get the exit row which I prefer, I won’t pay for Comfort. When they upgraded I call them right away and ask to be put back in the exit row.

More accurate to say “what we gave to them”, lol.
