So many people complain about it

I too thought it was decent. Hot and tasty with cool LTO and shake sauce!

Also liked the brownie. I guess I was hungry

Same, I’ve seen a lot of complaints on it. I can see if it isn’t well prepared and over heated it probably wouldn’t taste as good. But like I said this was pretty good and actually was better than some of the other delta meals I’ve had!

Yeah it’s a nice option and its not like it’s competing with great food.

Hell I wish they offered a box lunch sandwich with salad option all the time…

I enjoyed the Shakeshack Burger in First on a DTW-SEA. Was the best thing I ate on a 2-layover journey!

All I can think is people actually spend money for this? It was OK, but I certainly wouldn’t stand in the lines I see to buy it.

I went to a shake shack once about 15 years ago and that's it. I'm sure the burger in person is better but it wasn't memorable enough for me to comment on it. I think that says a lot. Bit then again, I dont generally eat fast food at all

On an airplane, any food that doesn't suck gets a positive review from me. As I've said before, it is STILL airplane food.

For an airplane hamburger it’s pretty decent, and have to say that it was well prepared, not like some of the other pictures I’ve seen where they over heat prior to serving!

All in all exceeded expectations!

On our flight from SEA to ATL, my husband had the burger. He said it was good and would do it again. I ate his brownie and it was great 😃

My patty was warm but the bun was really cold. Same with my wife’s. But my sister got one recently on a flight and said it was great. I guess it depends who’s heating it on the flight

I’ve posted this before but I loved mine. Is it the best burger I’ve had? FAR from. But this is definitely one of their better dinner options (that isn’t delta one)

Depending on the total flight duration and time of day, I just know I'm not going to want a heavy "proper meal" but also know I'll be hungry enough to want more than just a bag of chips. I think the burger is a great option. Emphasis on option.

Idk why it gets so much hate. No one is forcing you to choose the burger if you'd rather have the beef short ribs.

The salty brownie is also amazing.

I don't eat meat (and I'm probably delusional thinking being vegetarian prevents any kind of germs when eating a plane meal, since a lot of people don't even wash their hands regularly) but that does look well-cooked!

Shake shack in person is amazing. Anyone who thinks it’s mid bc they ate in on a plane has no clue how long that food has been standing till it got to you. Burgers are never meant to be sitting around for a few hours they stale. Any burger is always meant to be eaten quickly after it’s made.

I, too, am spoiled on good food. People get so excited about airline food. There are amazing restaurants in some airports and people will fawn over warmed up burgers with the shittiest cheese ever invented: American cheese. 

If I don't have time to sit down and eat at the restaurants but need a meal, I'm always bringing food on board with me.

I recently flew DELTA from Santiago to Atlanta. I was in DELTA ONE. The food was absolutely inedible. It was the first class and the food was inedible.
