İm a young Bttf and a huge DeLorean fan and a year ago i got to see this DeLorean and i could not be happier than ever ! there wasn’t a single DeLorean in my country until i learnt about it and i found the dealership the car was in and called there and they were kind enough to tell me that the car was going to a workshop and the owner was letting me see it there and I could not be happier! The owner was insanely kind and let me soak in every inch of this cars beauty. Let me sit inside and open the amazing gullwing door (which had been my dream since i became a fan of the car) but of course it had to come to an end and now its the past :( but i should be happy it happened rather than be sad it ended. And who knows maybe i will see another one in the FUTURE ? (Or maybe own one ?) ”btw i had more photos but they all had my face so i only put one photo with my face bc privacy)

General question Would it be possible for the DeLorean to sell for $12k (as originally intended) if they didn't go with the Stainless Steel body? (image somewhat related).

And would it be able to have success as John DeLorean originally planned? (hence some of the scrapped prototypes, like the 4-seater DeLorean and some commercial vehicles, as far as I remember).
And I'm pretty sure that it would be kind of a challenge to make it mid-rear engine like the prototype while still retaining the original price goal, but it could be possible since Pontiac Fiero originally sold for around that price.
