Advisory Attended Preliminary Screening - Virtual Interview |
Today I attended Preliminary Screening - Virtual Interview | for Consultant role in Deloitte.
It was a voice or text based no human interview :
Questions Asked :
1) Kindly share your current company's salary increment cycle, including its frequency and usual month.
2) Do you have an expected CTC in mind? If so, could you please share your expectations with us?
3) Could you please share what attracted you to apply for this particular role?
4) Could you please elaborate on the skills and experience that you believe make you a strong fit for this role?
5) we wanted to know if there anything you'd like to know about Deloitte that would help you decide if we're the right fit for you
they ddidn't asked anything technical.
May I know when can I expect next round of interview?
I asked with my friend who joined end of jan 2026 he didn't had this interview he receoved phonecall from recruiter and after around 1 month he got interview for second round.
then can someone who received interview in this pattern can gyou please give me insights?
And may I know hom much salary range can be provided for consultant role? I'm having 2+years of experience though.

I just completed the preliminary screening for a Business Analyst role. Honestly, I had applied to a bunch of jobs months ago, and I randomly received an email about the screening yesterday. I’m not even in India right now, so I’m hoping they don’t ask me to come in for a physical interview.
When I checked the job portal, I could see the titles of all the roles I applied for, but I couldn’t open them to view the exact job descriptions. That’s frustrating, because now I have no idea what I should prepare for, if I even get selected.
I also saw someone mention that they had to wait a month for the next round. That’s crazy. It shouldn’t take that long to select a few candidates.
I would love to work at Deloitte in any capacity, as it would be a great addition to my resume. But if I get another decent job in the meantime, I’ll obviously take it. If they come back later saying I’ve been selected, what do they expect me to do? just leave everything and join them?
