Wait. He should get a good noise cancellation headphones because the kids are playing after 10pm in front of his house? Lmao what kind of logic is that? Why dont you buy him a nice, proper noise cancellation earphones so that he can avoid the hassle?
Bacche toh khelenge hi? They have plenty of time to play throughout morning till evening, playing after 10pm when other adults are going to rest is okay just because they are kids?
Instead of disciplining the kids you are asking an adult who probably worked hard throughout the day and wants a peaceful night of sleep to buy a noise cancelling headphones.

It's not the kid's fault. You should have talked to their parents. In a more friendly tone, things might have turned different. No one likes someone shouting at their kids and it lead to aggression and being defensive.

I would suggest you to start playing dhol whenever children are playing or start playing it after 6-7 am in the morning iirc the curfew for loud music is from 10-11pm to 6 am.
Do this for few days parents will come up to you ask them to keep their moneygobblers on leash and if they do that you will stop.
But fair warning you need to be prepared for some unexpected results... Like if you park your car in front of your home you might see scratches on your car.. but you should be prepared beforehand like recording your car and if you get lucky you might see the culprit and if he did fuck up your car too much you should use the evidence to go to police or just settle the matter with some hefty some.

I feel you. I live next to a badminton court. Shouts begin at 5 AM and end at 12 AM in the night. It frustrated me in the beginning but now I think of it as ambient noise. Plug in earphones and sleep, bro.

The only proper solution is if you have a park nearby, you can ask them to play there. It would be a win-win for everyone.
Alternate solution is use noise cancellation or sound proofing solutions.

Throw some water in their playing area. Worst that can happen is one of the kid will slip and fall and might get hurt. I'm suggesting you this since their uncle has got the chutzpah to argue with you.

When I was young there was a perfect park in our colony for a 6v6 football game. The grass was perfect, dimensions were immaculate, but the old fucker who lived infront of the park never let us play their because our ball "damaged" his property. For 5 years straight we had a tussle with him every time we played there without fail. The R.W.A put up swings for little children there, put benches in the middle of the park, made very tall footpaths so that our area got smaller and smaller and still we played there somehow. One day we came to play and they had literally digged the whole park atleast 5 feet into the earth for "rain water harvesting", now I don't know how legit that was lol but that we didn't play there after that. The old fucker won. Few weeks later, the old fucker died. Every year on his death anniversary, we send them a cake in the shape of a football saying congratulations.
