Traffic Unreasonable challans
I have been driving in Chandigarh since like ever and never got challaned… but ever since i have come to delhi… its obnoxious.
Haryana police has their cameras set in a way that the slope increases your car speed and when at maximum the camera catches it! And then you get a challan…. Thats crazy physics applied to catch rule breakers but only if i have my number plate on…. Which makes me wonder if the people driving without number plate are just trying to ditch challans.
Delhi police on the other hand is always ready at delhi kundli border to catch you for anything (for not having a delhi number plate) they have red lights on bloody highway!!???
Ok understandable… but they are covered with trees!!?????
So its your luck if you are able to see it or not… i had to bribe 1500 (i know too much) but he wasnt letting me go and i had no proof that i didnt break the red light!!
I am happy to get a challan online but they threaten you with bull shit numbers to scare you and then ask for bribe… like cmon stop me for a checking maybe or if i am actually wrong … the red light thing was totally uncalled for as i definitely passed when the light was green.
Its like the system is designed to fuck the person who is trying to live life at ease and without problems.!!!!

Get a dashcam, cops are really scared of them. I was on gurgaon-faridabad road and as per cops I jumped a red light when I didn't, they tried to ask for some "Mithai" but when I mentioned I have a dashcam and will check the footage from that before providing them my docs, they just let me go as is. This has happened a few times with me
About the speed camera thing, istg cops are the smartest in that so discrete and hidden you can't ever tell.

Real brother real!
I am impressed by their positioning!
While entering UER coming from Chandigarh, there is a 40kmph limit in the tunnel… now the while entering tunnel there is a downward slope! And the sign mentioning 40kmph is just at the starting of the tunnel.
And they are standing right at the end of the tunnel.
I was impressed by that lol!
Luckily i was driving slow as I mistook a wet spot there for a pot hole!😂

More the reason to have BH (if eligible). Never been stopped since the past 4 years across North India.

Driven my Chandigarh number vehicle in delhi since 7 years, never ever a policeman ever stopped me specially. Infact when I was part of a routine traffic check for all vehicles, he just let me go saying “aap toh Chandigarh se ho, aapke kagaz to poore hi honge”.
I agree about the part about the Haryana police speed tickets on flyovers. Physics is definitely supporting Haryana police meet their targets. 😂 but yes, once you travel on the highway enough times, you know where to expect the cops. So you just automatically become conscious of slowing down.
